Holiday Activities on Canada’s Mormon Trail

There is much to do over the holiday season in communities along the Mormon Trail.

Nov. 28 is the Cardston Winter Lights Competition in the Town of Cardston with evening judging from 6 to 10 p.m. Have your lights turned on by 6 p.m. in order to be judged. Come out and see the lights!

Dec. 1 to 31 is the Christmas Art Show at the Remington Carriage Museum in Cardston featuring local artwork with a Christmas theme. Art Show is in the foyer of the Museum.

Thursday, Dec. 3 is Hometown Christmas in Magrath from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The Christmas lighting ceremony goes at 6:15 p.m. Santa will visit the Town Hall and there will be display tables at local businesses and the Gingerbread House contest at Roosters. There will also be street visiting, holiday shopping and entertainment.

Friday, Dec. 4 is the 18th Annual Old Fashioned Christmas in Raymond from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa arrives at 6:30 p.m. but you can beat the line-up by picking up tickets from the Raymond Pharmacy Dec. 1 to Dec. 4.

Saturday, Dec. 5 is the Christmas Craft Show hosted by the Raymond Ag Society at the Ag Buildings on the East side of town. Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
